Goodbye
1. Ruby Fever
Ruby Fever
When I see him with you
I get so jealous and I don't know why
When I hear you laughing
You're both so happy and I want to cry

Have I lost my mind?
Mother never though I'd feel like this.
Wish you were mine!
Since you came along I've been a mess
I didn't ask for this,
This sickness - I got the Ruby Fever

Ruby Ruby
Baby baby
I got the fever
burnin' through me

Some'll say "I knew it!"
Some'll say "This couldn't be true, could it?"
Some'll say "I'm with you baby - all the way!"
But I don't care I just...

Wanna hold your hands
and I want to touch your delicate skin
and teach you all I can
all about the world we're livin' in
and to be your friend
Ruby, I'll be there for you until the end

Ruby Ruby
Baby baby
I got the fever
burnin' through me

Ruby I've been fighting this so long
I don't know if what I feel is wrong
all I know I can't go on
with Ruby Fever

Ruby how much longeracronym>must I wait?
baby should I leave it up to fate?
all I know I won't last long
with Ruby Fever - it's just too strong
and I got it bad, Ruby
I got the Ruby Fever!

Ruby Ruby
Baby baby
I got the fever
burnin' through me

Ruby I've been fighting this so long
I don't know if what I feel is wrong
all I know I can't go on
with Ruby Fever

Ruby Ruby - yeah
Ruby Ruby - yeah
Ruby Ruby - year
You can save me
2. Do You Have Any Miracles?
Do You Have Any Miracles?
I want to pour out my heart but something stops me
Just my luck the words get stuck half way
Now I'm trying to explain but nothing's working
I can't find the words in time to help me

Now I fear it's too late
Past the point to resucitate our love
Baby it's too clear how
Only a miracle can save us now

So Do You Have Any Miracles with you dear?
Do You Have Any Miracles? I'm all out here
Do You Have Any Miracles? Any Miracles? Any Miracles?

I want to tell you how I feel - so sick and tired
Of going through the motions you require
And now the pain I feel inside is growing stronger
I don't know if I can go much longer

But maybe there's still a chance
We can rescue a seed of our romance
And maybe with a good fight
And a miracle we'll be all right

So Do You Have Any Miracles with you dear?
Do You Have Any Miracles? I'm all out here
Do You Have Any Miracles? Any Miracles? Any Miracles?

I'm fading fast; I'm not gonna last
I can see the light; I don't want to fight
It won't be long before I'm gone
Oh, can't you see? You're killing me

Do, do you have any Miracles?...
3. The Secret
The Secret
I went over to their house last Saturday night
She was good, he seemed satisfied

Then he said, "When I'm alone
will you call me on the phone?"

"I've got a Secret I'm dying to tell you
Keep it – I know I can trust you
Leak it and she won't believe you."

So I called when I knew she would be out
I had to know what this was about

But he said, "not on the phone!
Will you meet me away from home?"

"I've got a Secret I'm dying to tell you
Keep it – I know I can trust you
Leak it and she won't believe you anyway."

So he told me in a hushed hush
My jaw dropped, I blushed
and downed a stiff drink
then he asked me - "what do you think?"
I couldn't believe it!

Now...
I've got a Secret I'm dying to tell you
Keep it – I know I can trust you
Leak it and she won't believe you.

I've got a Secret
I've got a Secret
I've got a Secret
You won't believe it
You won't believe it
anyway
4. Good Friend
Good Friend
You call yourself a friend
But do you know how to be one?
Pride is a sin
And you’re so proud that you have none

You think everyone is wrong
Yet you’re the only one who can’t get along
And everyone around know it by now

You’re a jeckle and hyde
Charming at first but twisted inside
(you’re not what you think)
Baby, don’t you know that you’re no…

Good, Good Friend
You’re no Good, Good Friend

Whenever you’re around
I feel I’m trapped in your warzone
And if I make a sound
I’ll set you off and you’ll explode

And I will stand accused
Of all of the crimes and lighting the fuse
But everybody knows the countdown started long ago

Want my advice? Cherish a friend who is willing to sacrifice
(I’d gladly take the blow)
For a friend but baby you’re no

Good, Good Friend
You’re no Good, Good Friend
Good, Good Friend
You’re no Good, Good Friend
I know what a good friend is
A good friend is there ‘til the end
Good friends don’t have to pretend
You are not what you think if you think you’re a Good Friend

I called myself your friend
I can’t say that it’s been fun
So this is the end
The last day I will be one

Good, Good Friend
You’re no Good, Good Friend
Good, Good Friend
You’re no Good, Good Friend
I know what a good friend is
A good friend is there ‘til the end
Good friends don’t have to pretend
You are not what you think if you think you’re a Good Friend
5. Turn Up The Radio
Turn Up The Radio
Emergency Evacuation
Everybody across the nation
C'mon baby let's do it tonight
We'll cause a scene at all the lights

Chorus:
Turn Up the Radio
Roll down the windows and let go!
Turn Up the Radio
Drown out the world you know
Turn Up the Radio...

I can feel the wind blow through my hair
and all my worries vanishing in summer air
Emergency evacuation bring your fastest transportation
and come on with me if just for one night
Everything will be all right

Chorus

We'll drag the strip for a bit and later on
We'll go park in the dark and get it on
We'll make out to the sound of our favorite song
So turn it up and turn me on

Turn Up The Radio
Turn Up The Radio
7. Me, You, And Scooby-Doo
8. Merry Xmas (Screw You)
Merry Xmas (Screw You)
$300 of clothing from Structure,
I even set foot in the Gap
I posed for that picture you wanted with Santa
sitting on his lap
I fought through the traffic and crowds just to get there,
it rained on my way home
I sat on the sofa and played back the message
you left on my Code-a-Phone

You said you found somebody new
You hoped we could be friends still
And hoped it wouldn't ruin my Xmas cheer

Chorus:
Well, Merry Xmas, Merry Xmas,
Merry Xmas to you
Merry Xmas, Merry Xmas,
Merry Xmas, screw you!

I took back my presents and wished I could take back the time I spent on you
Driving and shopping and wrapping and hoping you liked what I bought you
And as I stood drowning my sorrows in cider and samples from Hickory Farms
I wanted to hide when I saw you walk by with your new package on your arm

I see you’ve found somebody new
And no, we can’t be friends still
I hope this doesn’t ruin your Xmas cheer

Chorus

I think she’s swell
‘Cause now I can tell
What Santa means
When you hear him sing…

Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho

Chorus

1. Jenny's Got A Boyfriend
Jenny's Got A Boyfriend
I used to have this one girlfriend - her name was Jenny
We did everything together...
When I wasn't over at her place we were talkin' on the telephone
But now, but now, Jenny's never home!

Jenny's Got a Boyfriend
Jenny's Got a Boyfriend
Jenny's Got a Boyfriend

Well, I guess there are other girls...but none like Jenny
A good girlfriend is hard to find!
Like, Debby is kind of strange and Sarah moved to Chicago
I can't believe Jenny would do this to me

Chorus
And she forgot about me

Everybody's telling me it's only human nature
and I would do the same to her sooner or later
I would never, ever...oh ...OH, Jenny!

I can only hope that he breaks her heart in two
And she'll come running back to me
And we can talk on the phone about how stupid boys are
And things will be the way they were before

Chorus
and she forgot about me
and she forgot about me
and she forgot about me
Oh Jenny!

Chorus
Jenny's Got A Boyfriend
Credits
written by Audra Coldiron
produced by Steve Lamm and Audra Coldiron
Notes
This song is about Jenn who's been my very best friend ever since she was born. It got us flown out to L.A. in 2000 to perform on Jimmy Iovine's Farm Club TV show with Creed and Godsmack. It also got us flow to NYC the following year to perform at the Bowery Ballroom as part of the 1st American Music Awards' New Music Awards.
2. Sugardaddy
Sugardaddy
I like my men like I like my coffee - sweet and strong
Sometimes they both can keep me up all night long
Sometimes they both can leave a bitter taste in my mouth
and other times I find I simply can't do without

I been thinkin' about this
What I've been missin' is a sweet kiss
I've been taking applications and I'm glad that you applied
I must confess, I'm quite impressed with your caress...I wanna know

Would you be my sugar, daddy?
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Come give me some sugar, daddy
yeah, yeah, yeah

I like my men like I like my cocoa - rich and hot
especially on a winter's night they both can hit the spot
and other times I like my men to be like my brandy
- and go down smooth

I been thinkin' about this
What I've been missin' is a sweet kiss
I've been taking applications
and I'm glad that you applied
I must confess, I'm quite impressed
with your caress...I wanna know

Chorus

I'll make you an offer
as simple as can be
you give me the sugar
and I'll give you what you need
baby, negotiate the benefits with me
3. Strange & Beautiful
Strange & Beautiful
Stevie always said that he was a lesbian
trapped within the body of a man
Jennifer used to keep a collection of
pencil points - why no one could understand

Sometimes it's better just to leave it unexplained
and to let the mystery remain

Aren't we all Strange & Beautiful
Yes, we are weird and wonderful
Everyone Strange & Beautiful
Strange & Beautiful
Strange & Beautiful

Debby doesn't like to walk through a doorway first
or cause a scene unless it's well rehearsed
Michael takes the labels off the cans he buys
so when he eats, it's always a surprise

Some people worry
'cause they think they don't fit in
but nobody really does in the end

Chorus

Don't be afraid of who you are
'Cause we're all just who we are
and who's to say what is normal anyway

Stephanie's a hypochondriac
so is Jeanine but twice as whacked
Senorita - where to start with her
that whole week is still a blur
Jenny's dad was gonna fix up the farm
he only hung a chandelier in the barn
Jimmy says midgets freak him out
he's over six six without a doubt
Patti swears she has felt a ghost
Johnny brags he can eat the most
and Eddie, right before we hit quit the band
why I never will understand
but everybody wears their own shade of strange
so don't change
you're beautiful
4. The Highschool Song
The Highschool Song
Cliques who never picked up a book
were telling you how to act and how to look
I used to call them the " Cookie Cutter Crowd"
You weren't cool if you got good grades
or didn't drink, or smoke, or get laid
but if you did you could go to their parties at the landfill!

Now, the major cliques were the "skaters" and the "rebels"
who were all the same except the rebels wore leather
and the skaters had the "skateboarding's not a crime" bumperstickers
But they all went to all the same parties...
and I'm sure now they all work at Hardees
still arguing over whether or not Ozzy is cool

This was my Highschool - yeah yeah
This was my Highschool - yeah, yeah

Eighty dollars was taken from my purse
during gym class one day, and to make matters worse
the exact same thing happened the day before
I had a feeling I knew who to blame
I never confronted her though, and it's such a shame
after all, she was soon to be somebody's mommy

A friend of mine had his leather jacket stolen
right out of his locker one monday morning...
and he too thought he knew who'd done it
later that week his suspicions were confirmed
when to him the alleged theif turned
and said, "Hey man, do you wanna buy a leather jacket?"

Chorus
I hated Highschool...

The spanish teacher would hit on me
and try to teach me "biology"
between classes she always smelled like pot.
(Regarding the come-on) "Uh...no thanks," I said,
"but, the gym coach might be interested
she's always trying to get me on her 'team'"

Now, certain teachers of geometry
and social studies periodically
would be sighted partying with last year's grads.
But the English teacher was a proper man
who later changed - so I understand
and shacked up with the principal's son.

Chorus

The Vice-principal approached me one day
and said, "Get rid of that headband , OK?!
We don't allow any fashion statements here!"
I was like, what do you mean? Isn't everything you wear
a fashion statement and not just your hair?
I told him I thought it was a really silly rule

But I remember later that year
wearing a dress to class on day that was sheer
with nothing underneath but a string bikini
It's funny then he didn't seem to care
and at every turn, guess who was there!
Apparently he liked what he saw.

Chorus
I hated Highschool...
5. Giving Up & Letting Go
Giving Up & Letting Go
It wouldn't have to be this hard
If it were written in the stars
There comes a time when you just know
Good-bye's the only way to go

And I look back before I go on
and try to figure out what went wrong

I used to think it was giving up
and that I wasn't trying hard enough
but now I've been around
long enough to know
There's a difference between
Giving Up & Letting Go

I think I gave it my best shot
I know I've given all I've got
And though it hasn't happened yet
I will look back without regret

I hoped and prayed
that it wouldn't turn out this way
But it looks like fate had the final say

I used to think it was giving up
and that I wasn't trying hard enough
but now I've been around
long enough to know
There's a difference between
Giving Up & Letting Go
6. New Revolution
New Revolution
Are you ready for a New Revolution
Comin' to your town, now?
Are you ready for a New Revolution?
Look out, here it comes now!

Get ready for the New Revolution
'Cause it's comin' today
Break out the white flags to be waved
Surrender and we'll all we saved

Put down the guns and just hold out your arms
Tonight's the night a new era is born

If everyone would just listen to us
and just hold out your hands
help your neighbor start to build a world
with the olive branch

This is the New Revolution
and it's coming to stay
Starting in this new millenium
together we will all be one

Chorus
One of love for all mankind
One of peace of mind

We are the New Revolution
and we're coming to say
you don't have to be afraid anymore
together we can save the world

Chorus
One of love for all mankind
One of peace of mind
This is the New Revolution...
6. The Urge
The Urge
It's a primitive Urge
and you can't really fight it
My advice is don't think twice
and just give in to it
It's bigger than you
There's nothing you can do
You can't fight it,
you can't quell it
I can't help it!

Chorus:
The Urge to knock you down
The Urge to jump on top
The Urge is so strong
chemical thing
and you won't know what's happening
You'll find yourself into nothing else
but the hunt and capturing

So let yourself go
and be well to know
You can't fight it
You can't quell it
I can't help it.

Chorus

I'm giving in to the Urge...

The Urge to knock you down The Urge to jump on top
The Urge to take you to my cave
and make you my love slave
The Urge to club and drag
The Urge is driving me mad
The Urge is so strong
so strong
so strong
it can't be wrong

I'm giving in to the Urge...
8. Something Good
Something Good
I don't believe in superstition
I never understood
and I never trust my intuition
though something says I should
just this time
so what I said - never mind
I have a feeling you will be mine

So I'll...

Cross my fingers, knock on wood
Anything in case it could
Help fate out because I think I've found
Something Good
Something Good

I know this sounds inconsistant
and very well it should
it's just that I am persistant
and if I thought it would

turn the tide
or align the stars on my side
I'd happily forget my pride

And I'd...

Chorus

Something fun, and something worth doing
Someone good, someone fun,
and someone worth knowing
if I find and clover of the 4 leaf kind
would you agree it would be a sign
you'll be mine in time

So let's...

Chorus
9. The Crush
The Crush
Haven't you ever noticed wherever you are, she is
Wherever you go she's already there
She knows all about you even your middle name
She's deadly smart and willing to play the game

She knows
you'll probably need some convincing
but she's positively sure
you will see it her way

Maybe you are to blame
Maybe if you weren't so charming
She'd have no trouble keeping herself away
It's the Crush...

Haven't you ever noticed
how she's right there under foot
ready and willing
to do whatever it took

To take you
and spin you in her spiderweb
and she'll never let you go
Though you won't want to

Maybe you are to blame
Maybe if you weren't so handsome
She'd have no trouble keeping herself away
It's the Crush...

Maybe you are to blame
Maybe if you weren't so exciting
I'd have no trouble keeping myself away
It's the Crush...
10. In Your Skin
In Your Skin
Haven't you ever noticed wherever you are, she is
Wherever you go she's already there
She knows all about you even your middle name
She's deadly smart and willing to play the game

She knows
you'll probably need some convincing
but she's positively sure
you will see it her way

Maybe you are to blame
Maybe if you weren't so charming
She'd have no trouble keeping herself away
It's the Crush...

Haven't you ever noticed
how she's right there under foot
ready and willing
to do whatever it took

To take you
and spin you in her spiderweb
and she'll never let you go
Though you won't want to

Maybe you are to blame
Maybe if you weren't so handsome
She'd have no trouble keeping herself away
It's the Crush...

Maybe you are to blame
Maybe if you weren't so exciting
I'd have no trouble keeping myself away
It's the Crush...
11. Dragonslayer
Dragonslayer
You slay my dragons while I sleep
You clear the cobwebs that I keep
You light my soul when it's dark inside
You aren't afraid of what you'll find

Chorus:
You're the bravest man that I've ever known
In valor and in honor you stand alone
when you come into my life with your shining armor
I let you into my lair to be my Dragonslayer

Now all the demons in my head
Have all given up their reign and fled
Now in the corners where they once dwelt
stands a fortress of strength that you have built

Chorus

You've given more than I could ever return
So take my heart as your reward
and know, my love, that you'll always be
my greatest treasure to me

Chorus

13. (You Must Be On) Crack
(You Must Be On) Crack
I'm really glad that you called.
I've been thinkin' too
Yes I agree I made a mistake when I left you.
I should have told you how I felt
instead I kept it all in
and now we're both left wondering what might have been
"I want you back" you say
"Oh baby, baby, there's no way!"

You Must Be on Crack
if for a moment you think I'm takin' you back.
I don't regret it when I left you on your ass
I only wish I hadn't done it with so much class

'Cause truth is, I never loved you
and the sex wasn't that great
I hear you're reading Cosmo
but baby, it's too late
I know now I was too nice
but I'm changin' that
I know next time to be a
bitch right off the bat
so let me get some practice in
you say you want me back again?

Chorus

Wish I could do it like Debby does
she says..."Don't EVER call me back!"
wish I could do it like Kimmy can
completely without tact
wish I could be coldhearted
wish I could be so mean
if I could be coldhearted no one would dare mess with me.

"But...I love you"
"Look, deal with it!"
"I told you he was a jerk."

Baby, baby for the last time
you must be out of your mind

Chorus

1. Oceanside
Oceanside
I can smell the vinegar
On the Thrasher’s fries in July
And I can hear the carousel
and the waves crash down all around

And I can see you holding in your hand
Tickets that you won in the arcade
And I can see you falling in the sand
As I laugh at you and run to aid

Chorus:
You are to me
Memories of a magic time
In the summertime
On an oceanside

And I can smell the funnel cakes
From accross the boardwalk Jenn would make
And I can hear the bumper cars
the kids would ride every night

And I can see you holding my hand
Trying not to look me in the eye
And I can see you standing in your drive
When I had to go, trying not to cry

Chorus

I can feel the night breeze
chilly though it's summertime
I can feel you touching me
in the backseat of my mind
I can feel it like it was yesterday
I can feel you like you are here today

Chorus

I can hear your sister say
that she never liked me anyway
and I can hear your mother say
that she wished I would have stayed
2. 100 Years Away
100 Years Away
Counting the hours 'til I see you again
Watching the clock
until it threatens to stop
My calendar says that I only have days
But it feels like 100 Years Away
100 Years Away

Crossing the days off
and climbing the walls
calming down only
to answer your call
It takes the edge off
but it's really not the same
It still feels like 100 Years Away

When the seconds are days
and minutes are years
and the sand in the hourglass
won't disappear
But for now there's time to kill
'Cause without you it's like time stands still

Counting my paces
as I wear across the floor
Clicking my heals in hopes
that you'd be at my door
Even a time machine
won't do the trick today
It still feels like 100 Years Away
100 Years Away

Chorus
3. Antidote
Antidote
I'm looking for an Antidote
To counter-act the luck I'm having
It seems the venom of love's sting
Is paralyzing
I need to find the strength
to keep up hope

That maybe out there somewhere
there's a man with remedies
to help me with what I call
the love disease
and to give me strength
before I give up hope
You see I'm looking for an Antidote

'Cause baby, I've never needed more
To find the secret and be cured
From all the things and dreams that have gone wrong before
or maybe I need a superhero

Maybe I need a super hero
like Captain Nero
or maybe I need a super man
like Superman
or the Green Lantern -
'cause he's a bright one
or Captain Caveman -
'cause he's a brave man
or Spiderman, or Plasticman, or even
Six Million Dollar Man
I bet Batman or Robin would do
or Flash Gordan 'cause he's kind of cute
Maybe the Wonder Twins 'cause active
their superpowers...

I'm looking for an Antidote
To counter-act the luck I'm having
It seems the venom of love's sting
Is paralyzing
I need to find the strength
to keep up hope
You see, I'm looking for
an Antidote

"Cause baby, I know there's got to be
a secret serum that can set me free
from all the chains and things that are binding me
or maybe I need a superhero to come and rescue me

I'm looking for an Antidote...

Chorus
4. In Dilemma
In Dilemma
Miss you but I'm not supposed to
Crying, no, but very close to
And wishing things were how they used to be
I know I shouldn't think about you
and be content to live without you
and let it be

I keep fighting for direction
In this world I helped create
Would I've gotten just as lost
had I left it up to fate
Would I've kept my innocense
and feared the naked truth
Would I've lived a battered life
Without you?

Did I love the worn, torn rooms
and the whispered words of life
Did I love to touch with shaking hands

Scars left my a knife
Did I love all the things that taught me
How to question why
The passion and the drama
and the way you made me cry
Was it all of these things
Or maybe none of the above
Was I crazy, or just in love?

Chorus
In Dilemma...

Baby all you have to do
is tell me you have changed this time

I keep losing my direction
in this world I helped create
I fear I've gotten lost and now
I won't be able to escape
But maybe I don't really want to
and maybe when push comes to shove
Maybe I'm not so crazy
I'm just in love

In Dilemma...
Chorus
5. Knocked Out
Knocked Out
I think you're wonderful
and you know you're beautiful
you're everything I want
But you already know
You knock me out

Round one I hear the bell
you come out swingin' and I'm overwhelmed
My head begins to spin
When I look into your eyes
But still I try to put up a fight
To make it look like you had to work for it
but you've got it, and I want it
That's for sure!

I'm Knocked Out
I'm down for the count
I'm Knocked Out - cold cocked!

Don't bother keepin' score
because I'm down on the floor
I'm Knocked Out

In a daze I try to stand
one look at you
and I don't think I can
You make my body burn
but you're easy on the eyes
When I'm with you, you floor me
you hit so hard that I'm seein' stars
But you've got it, and I want it
That's for sure!

Chorus

One because you're fun
and two because we're young
and three because you want me
Four because your funny
five becuase yo' money
six because I want you more
seven 'cause you're brilliant
you're one in a million
and eight because I think it's fate
nine because it's time
to let you know you're mine
and ten you win!
I'm Knocked Out!

Chorus I'm Knocked Out...
7. Sincerest Thank You
8. Alabaster Box
Alabaster Box
Baby, your potential is high
To be my lover tonight
But one thing stands in the way
You're hiding your feelings away

I want you to be
happy and free to be with me
So dear, listen to me

Don't hide your lovin' feelings
In an Alabaster Box
Smash it into pieces
and then give me what you've got

Alabaster Box

Bring a hammer and you even might

Chorus

Baby, tell me what you're hiding
So you can be free to be with me

Chorus
No Excuse
No Excuse
